Honor Your Mentors: Give in Their Name

Do you have a favorite Breakthrough/Summerbridge Sacramento teaching fellow you would like to honor? How about a past or present director or mentor teacher who meant a great deal to you? Or perhaps there’s someone else who helped you in your educational experience to whom you would like to pay tribute?

Our “Honor Your Mentors” campaign allows you to share your gratitude for the love, support, and opportunities a special individual (or individuals) gave you. At the same time, you will be providing financial support to Breakthrough Sacramento, which continues to provide the same outstanding opportunities you received during your time with the program.

This gift is in honor and praise of Laura Monahan, former executive director of Summerbridge Sacramento, the precursor to Breakthrough Sacramento. Working with her as a peer at Country Day and as a co-member of the BSAC advisory board has left me in awe of her energy and enthusiasm. Laura puts her heart and soul in all that she does. She gave tirelessly as executive director of Summerbridge Sacramento, and continues to bring wonderful support to BSAC.
